The Newbury is a nineteenth-century public house and restaurant in Newbury town centre serving a British menu with a twist! Join us in our spacious and relaxing bar area with stitched Chesterfield seating.
The restaurant serves a British menu with a twist that has seen us regularly feature in the Michelin Guide and Alistair Sawday’s Special Places to Eat and Drink. We are proud of the multiple awards and other recognition received.
Our roof terrace has its own bar and is a sun trap in the summer. Guests can enjoy cocktails and pizza from the pizza oven. The retractable awning and heating give it a real cosy feel in the winter too.
The Newbury spent much of their lockdown using their 137gin vats to create free hand sanitizer for charitable front line services.
