The 137 Gin Distillery is located inside The Newbury Pub on Bartholomew Street and produces great gins and spirits.

Lumber’s Bartholomew 137 Gin is a series of independently distilled spirits produced at the 137 Distillery by landlord and Master Distiller, Pete Lumber. The distillery is fiercely independent and the first of its kind in Newbury.

Every element of the 137 Distillery is unique and personal. Pete’s vision remains at the core of the entire range and brand. From the distinctive logo and strong brand identity to the impressively bold and beautiful copper still on which all his gins are still hand-curated, Pete continues to tell his story through his gin.
