Winners of the 2021 'Muddy Stilettos Award' for best bar in Berkshire! The Globe is a hip hangout for you and your four-legged drinking partners.

Owners Colin and Katie and the pub dog Dave, took over The Globe (formerly known as The Snooty Fox), and transformed this tired old boozer into a trendy tavern that wouldn’t be out of place in the Big Smoke.

The original name was revived, along with many of the original features, with graffiti wall art, funky fixtures and a wall of 80s snacks, giving it that urban vibe.

More than just another pub, Colin and Katie have created a community with their limitless charm, plus live music events, quiz nights, foodie celebrations and more.

Rather unusually The Globe has collaborated with Colline’s Kitchen for its food offering. During the pandemic they also worked with Pizza Pilot and Fink Street Food too. This is not your standard three courses, more of a grazing platter of all-time snack faves like sausage rolls, wings, bread and pickles and street food favourites. Pop along, take your dog and don’t be offended if your furry BFF gets a warmer welcome.
