The Empire Cafe and Bakery, with the Upper Crust Function rooms, has been established in Newbury since the 1920s and is one of the oldest Family businesses in the town. Known for their legendary lardy and celebration cakes, not to mention the wide range of bread and cakes baked freshly on the premises early every morning.

Of course The Empire Cafe isn't just a bakers, it's a cafe too, offering light bites and hearty home-cooked meals - when the cafe is able to reopen.
